About Power Flow Vinyasa

Journey into Power (JIP) is an 11-part sequence starting with integration and body awakening, then ending with deep rest.

JIP is an invigorating vinyasa sequence which works for all ages, body types, and physical abilities because it is not fixed. It is adaptable to every student. It is a blueprint that encourages creativity from sound structure.

Making pose modifications, as needed, per student is what I know how to do. I understand what it is to have injuries and am happy to suggest alternative poses and/or modifications.

This is a power flow vinyasa practice in my home studio heated to 90 degrees with 70% humidity. We can practice with or without music. The effect is a deep yoga stretch, minimal body stress, strengthens your muscles, but also serves as a cardio workout. You will burn calories!

I will start your practice by helping you setting an intention, concentrating on the elements of the earth: fire for tapas, water for movement, ground down like earth, soften like air, and create space for something new. Every practice is unique, and what you can do one day may not be accessible each practice. We will end practice with gratitude for what you brought to your practice and the wonders of the human body.

I would like to help to empower yourself to reach your full potential. My hand on assists are not corrections, but helpful to cues to help you feel which muscles to use and how to achieve full empowerment and true north alignment. I will enter and exit an assist carefully and without disruption.

Yoga three times a week will maintain your current physical health. Yoga five times a week can create a new you and change your physical health. Stretching the muscles lengthens and realigns the muscle fibers, which is an amazing way to shape the body, giving yogis a tighter and leaner physique.
